Is the start button/light flashing an error code?
What happens when you set it to start a program?

Hi

Thanks you for your reply

The error code was F7 when we initially plugged it in, the start button flashes until you press it, when a program is selected it just sounds like its draining, then it stops and does nothing. have checked that water is going through pipe and it is, but just not entering the machine, tried both hot and cold water supply but still nothing.

If there is no water whatsoever entering the machine then the inlet valve is most likely faulty.
However, that's very uncommon. More common is a problem with the flowmeter or the pressure switch.
Remove the filter and mesh filter, carefully clean out the black grid and don't puncture the membrane, pour very hot water into the sump to disolve any grease.
Reset the machine and try it again. If still not working take off the left hand panel, locate the flowmeter at the bottom front of the water matrix, unplug it and plug it back on. Reset and try again.

:) thanks i will try that, but do you mean the filter inside the machine or on the back of machine, sorry for sounding dumb........

Di

Filter and mesh filter are both inside the machine. Pressure switch is the black grid on the right side of the bowl.
