My adt contract is coming to an end and we can’t afford to keep paying for the contract. I was told (not by adt obv) that since ADT installed visonic product and not their own, it is possible to use the existing system without contract. I did some research online but there is very little information so I have a few questions:
- It sounds like getting the installer code from adt is impossible so, was it left to do: hard reset? Some mentioned about changing the monitor?
- Communication/phone calls: adt use to call us when the alarm is going off. How would we made aware of the alarm going off if ADT is not involved now? Is there any other way of communicating? I see visonic has a capability.
