advice on installing extra PIR on old C & K system?

Hi, I've inherited a alarm system in my new home, its based on a C & K securitech panel with only one PIR, avery basis one at that, but it does work, i have just tested it! I'd like to add one more in my living room, but have no idea how to go about doing so, how do i link it up to my old sytem , i htink the main box is locked...
