Advise sought re problems with Wickes Creocote

A neighbour is reasonably complaining about the smell, three days later, the fence is outside his back door and under a window he wants to have open.

I am wondering if Air Wick Freshmatic might help.

Do you have any experience of using some sort of commercial Air Freshener to relieve the odour,please?

Also, the man I got to do it managed to allow some spots on to neighbours UPVC white door, I have been away and on returning discovered that his efforts to remove it with Turpentine substitute were unsuccessful.

I am awaiting a call from Wickes technical department, but please share any experience of successfully removing this very hard drying and adhesive stuff from such a surface.

You could try nail varnish remover, but it might be best to wait for the tec guys to come back to you.

As regards to the smell, tell your neighbour it will be gone in a few days. Forget any fresheners, tell him to open his front windows if he's that bothered about fresh air.
