Our electricity supply was interrupted to carry out work today and unfortunately it was turned off half way through a wash cycle. When supply turned back on washing machine showed error code C9. Can't find this code in the operating instructions. Have switched off and on several times but code still displayed. Have carried out a manual emptying of machine as per operating instructions and refilled with 1 litre of water as instructions. Still no joy - error code C9 still displaying. I can't believe an interrupted electricity supply now requires me to call an engineer. Is there a simple way to remedy this problem (surely!?).
