I've recently moved into a house that I bought and have noticed that some of the window panes at the back of the house leak air. Each pane has a thin strip of rubber around its edge but in a few places it hasn't been applied properly and I can feel the air coming in where I guess the window pane isn't completely sealed with the frame.

Can I replace the rubber myself or is this something best left to a professional?

A bit more detail about the type of windows please? Single or double glazed, timber/aluminium/uPVC frames? Exactly where is this rubber strip located? A photo would help.

Ah OK, I'll supply a photo and figure out what type of frames they are. Won't be able to do it until later as I'm at work.
