Hi,

I need to put some airbricks in my 3x5 rear extension and have a couple of questions
The walls are 215mm Block work with Thermal plasterboard on inside.

I am installing 5 of them one on each side and 3 on the rear wall

Can I use 2 of these http://www.wickes.co.uk/clay-airbrick-9x3in/invt/713010/?source=123_74
one each side of the wall and do I need a sleeve of some kind between them?

I am also reading they need to be below the DPC however we are already up to DPC and have been inspected and passed, Why should they be below DPC and what difference will it make, They will still be above the reccomended height from ground either way.

What are you venting?

If its a void under the floor, then yes they normally go below DPC, but you would use a 'periscope' liner to duct the air lower in the inside
