I had a radiator replaced downstairs and now the upstairs radiators are not warming up. The central heating system is not closed and refills automatically. Is it possible that air got into the system when the new radiator was put on?

A plumber came out and did it for me. Is it common practice to bleed the radiators after the job is finished, or should I do it?

Please let me know....I'm cold!!!

Its good practise to leave the system you have worked on functioning. Why not just bleed the rads ? not sure why you are asking if you should !
