Hi,

The radiators downstairs are not working at all. I just finished bleeding all of the radiators, both upstairs and downstairs (except for one upstairs). All the radiators upstairs are working fine. But in downstairs, the water that comes out of the radiator is COLD. It doesn't make any sense to me, how can it be cold?!?! Reading through the forum, I believe it could either be a air lock or a pump related issue, but the water in the radiator is clearly running, as when I bleed the radiator the water is running. Please help fix the issue :)

try turning off all the radiators upstairs.
If its's Y plan or S plan (motorized valves) set programmer to htg only
It can take time, and will probably make allot of rushing when it clears.
If all fails, it's probably the pump..

Turning off the upstairs seemed to have done the trick, but when i turn them on again the downstairs radiators stops working again :( Is it the pumps?

It sounds like the system need balancing. This involves opening all the wheelhead and TRVs and closing down all the lockshield valves except those that arn't getting warm. Then you will have to open the closed lockshields one at a time (only open these valves about 1 turn. You will then have to go around all your rads feeling which ones are hotter and which are colder and adjusting the locksheilds accordingly. Enjoy...
