Be very grateful for some help on behalf of my friend - she is no good on computers!
Her boiler stops working every time the temperatures plummet and starts working on its own, once the temperature rises.
She does not think it is a condenser boiler (we believe condensers can have the problem due to the outlet pipe freezing).
Apart from the obvious problem that on the day she needs the heat the most, it does not work, she is also planning on going away and is worried that if it does stop again, because the temp drops, her pipes might freeze and burst - is that likely?
She did have BGas out, but by the time they came out the temp had risen and it was working fine. They could see nothing wrong, but then it has done it again since.
Is this a known problem with the Alpha 240E?
Any help really appreciated.
Many thanks
