Hoping somebody can help in telling me what amp is needed in a shower and in general lighting of a 3 bed house?

the power rating of the shower you buy will be printed on the box and also shown in the sales brochure and installation instructions. RF means that he can't see what sort of shower you have got.

domestic lighting circuits are almost invariably fused at 6A, though there is often one lighting circuit for each floor of the house.
 
But you both did the calculation at 240V.

Use the correct Uo of 230V and you'll see that Harry needs 70.4A.

Amps, Volts & Watts are all dependent variables

And if Ohm's Law is applied

V= IxR

So if V is reduced from 240 to 230 then current will decrease.

to 64.8725 A (approximately)
