Hi

Im putting some T & K brackets on a brick wall to secure a pole and aerial, the brickwork a good hard brick (not soft red) and ill be using anchor bolts, i just want to know how big the hole should be drilled for a 10mm anchor bolt? 10mm? bigger?

Which anchor bolt exactly? there are varieties.
If rawlplug expansion bolts, then 16mm is about right.

Threaded thunderbolts would be the same size hole as the fixing. M10 = 10mm etc.

Follow the manufacturer's guidance of whatever fixing you buy, as they may be different.

M8 14 so what size drill? 8mm?

That don't look like an m8 bolt. Perhaps the shroud is 8mm, but the bolt looks a lot less. Maybe the camera angle though.

m8 should be the diameter of the bolt (threaded section) and 14 is the hex head. None of which is the shroud diameter, which will be different.
