Another Angela Rayner scandal

 Is it just me that thinks the first post has got absolutely feck all to do with the thread tittle - Angela Rayner? Has JohnD had to stoop so low as to create threads under false pretences? Is he confusing his posts on here with his posts on Facebook or Tik Tok.
I notice no Tory stalwarts have made any comment.

Unless it's AR in the spotlight there is no interest.

Blinkered or what!

perhaps cynically seeking power
The leader of the opposition has one job to do: win power.

There is nothing cynical in doing exactly what the job entails

You are so obviously a Corbyn cultist who would only support Labour if they followed a path that made them totally unelectable.

It’s a safe bet you will voting for the Green Party, it’s what Corbyn cultists do.

Like he adopted their policy to tax non-doms?

Oh no.

That was them copying him.

How about renationalising sewage companies?
The left
You are just making up a connection with Starme because you don’t like him

Angela Rayner story was at the height of the news cycle 2 weeks ago
The timing is not perfect at all

It’s obvious the Conservative activists involved in the story got fed up with Conservative Party doing nothing about it so they went to the Times.

The Times were so obviously in contact with Tory press office to agree a time for release. Times went live with story about 9.00pm, MP had whip removed by midnight - that shows Tory party knew in advance.

So Murdochs paper collaborates with Tories not Starmer.
Fighting
That’s just being silly.

Every opposition party since the beginning of time challenges the govt on any wrongdoing

Seriously Blup, you are making yourself look a fool, you are picking anything and applying it to Starmer
With each other

He can win power without marching in step with the toreys.
1) he is not marching in step with the Tories - if you bothered to actually compare Labour policies with Tory you would find they are completely different.

Try looking at facts instead of being fed by your bias.

2) Starmer can’t win with the Corbyn high spend policies you want.
Labour need to convert 120+ marginal seats and the voters they need to win them are not left wing socialists, they are a mix of: centre ground, disaffected Tories, people frightened away from Labour by Corbyn, brexit voters etc

You are just repeating the lazy arguments being pushed by left wing echo chambers, especially people like Owen Jones, Novara Media, Sqwawkbox etc etc

The simple fact is the U.K. is in the grip of right wing populism….which they

high spend policies
High spend policies brought us the nhs and huge post war investment in social housing industry and hospitals built. Furlough was a high spendpolicy.

what a dodgy bunch

Yesterday I, for my sins read the Daily Telegraph

A half a page about Angela Rayner
3 pages about Sunaks latest culture wars bolox about “sick note Britain”

Not a single mention of Mark Menzies, nothing. Just like MBKs absence from this thread.

Yup, Mark Menzies, Tory MP who has committed a serious crime and evidence destroyed by CCHQ but tumbleweed from:
MBK,
Andy Devon
Gas112
NWGS
Mottie

Yet they’ve spent 100+ pages on the AR thread banging on about how terrible it is that she might not have paid enough tax

Wot a bunch of forking hypocrites

The timing is perfect, and deflects from AR as you suggest
So your argument is that Murdoch is helping Keir Starmer:

Really??

Here is the Sun online, still going after Angela Rayner

Yet they’ve spent 100+ pages on the AR thread banging on about how terrible it is that she might not have paid enough tax

They're not even complaining any more that she paid the wrong amount of tax. They're complaining that she paid the right amount of tax, but that she got the wrong reason when she tweeted an explanation.

“sick note Britain”
Sound like they may privatise them. GP's no good. Another post outlined some aspects of what they may do. Help a relatively few recover - that's expensive. Then the other ideas on the rest.

Both approaches are possible.
Your claim that the Times held back the story to help Starmer is pure conjecture, it has no basis in fact.

The reality is delaying the article helped the Tories not Labour.

You are desperately making something out of nothing to support your bias.

Sound like they may privatise them. GP's
GPS are kind of privatised anyway.

Wes Streeting has talked of bringing GPs and Dr surgeries fully into the NHS.

Anyway, Tories are rapidly running out of road, so they won’t be doing anything.
