after many years with a trusty old electric shower we recently had to have a replacement fitted. My partner chose a 8.5kw triton ivory 4 because it's a basic shower without any fancy features. Unfortunately the heater element on this shower is constantly tripping out. We usually have to turn the temperature selector up to the top then the heater comes on again but gets too hot and as soon as you turn the selector down the heater trips out again. Since we hadn't had any problems with the old shower until it died (was over 10 years old) we called the Triton technician to have a look - He said the shower is fine but we have low pressure and he left us with it. The pressure in the bathroom is probably just around or a touch below the 1 bar that manufacturers recommend. Is there a shower (like our old one) that isn't quite so fussy about getting a high pressure or can the Triton be modified?
