Anyone know anything about Triton fixing kits?

I got an Excellente, the square bar mixer shower and ditched the dogs legs and instead used an ebay fixing kit.

Trouble is, the mixer bar won't go all the way into the threaded part of the kit and this leaves a decent gap around the rubber washer. Needless to say I've spent hours trying to add washers, fix leaks etc and it's just not happening.

Any ideas on what might fit? I've heard this shower isn't compatable with some Triton fixing kits so it looks like they've screwed us over.

I'll add a pic. Help really appreciated!

Thanks

The shrouds fit perfectly, after the first rubber washer is part of the mixer bar, I left it in for the pic to show how it wasn't going to screw in all the way to the silver threaded piece of the fixing kit.

That screwfix bit looks i interesting, might be worth buying and seeing if I can just take the threaded bits off as they seem longer, maybe long enough to accept the shower bar.

Sorry I hadn't seen your pic when I replied but the fixing kit is meant to be tiled over
