Apple trees

When should I prune back my apple trees? Discovered this year they are really good eaters - not sure what variety but look similar to braeburn.

They have not been touched for years - your advice would be appreciated.

If they are good eaters, and you have enough why not try the local greengrocer and see if he would buy then off you.

Maybe I am too greedy but there aren't enough left , and besides I don't think Mr Sainsbury would be interested.
