Aquapanel

I am about to build a shower enclosure in my new ensuite.
I know that I should be using aquapanel prior to tiling but this is not an option in this case. What treatment should I apply to the walls prior to tiling? One wall is new plaster and the other is plywood (not marine)

use the relevant primer and adhesive reccomended by the adhesive manufacturer for the substrate you are fixing the tiles to. Pick one of the decent manufacturers such as Bal or Ardex and see which products they recommend.
