are my plans going to big for my fuse box?

hi
i have a small fuse box (wylex 400/n) which is not too exceed 60amps
i have an electric cooker, gas combi boiler,tv stereo etc.....i would like to put in an 9.5kw power shower...and if possible 2 large and 1 small night storage heaters, am i going to be able to do this?

It is usual to put storage heaters with each on its own 16A radial circuit, so you will need a new CU for those. Your old one will probably not accept a 40A MCB, and it needs replacing if you have an electric cooker and an electric shower.

You might as well have this done at the same time as the heater circuits.

If you contact your Supply authority they may be able to offer you a cheaper tariff for your storage heating. Theres a thread ongoing at the moment on Radio teleswitches that may be of interest to you.
