Hi,
my mates Ariston boiler keeps showing a fault code f77 or a77 not 100% sure which one .But the condencer bowl keeps filling up with water & boiler cuts out .Once emptied it works again any ideas ?
Boiler is just over 13 months old

Thanks in advance

If its a new one there is a known manufacturing fault. There is a sensor that detects the condensing trap full then shuts off boiler. As it is a condensing boiler this trap will always be full

You need to disconnect the sensor on the condensing trap. I cannot remember which wires they are off hand, but Ariston will be very helpful ;)

Thank you for the quick reply .I,ll give Ariston a ring tomorrow. :)

If its the kind with a plastic ball which closes the outlet when its empty then there have been a few with sticky grease or silicone which makes the ball stick and not float up.
