hi all.
as the title says, i have a ariston microgenius combi, MFFI 23 trips overheat cut out, and lights the red led to say so. it is around 5 years old, and has always done this to an extent, once a fortnight. the installing engineer said it might, as he has maxed the hot water potential.
it has now started to do it 5 times a day. no difference whether the heating, or the hot water is on. usually after the hot tap is turned off, but occasionally whilst in the shower!
any ideas for me to attempt would be appreciated.
