Hi,

Hope this is the right forum for this. Hope you guys can help...we want to put in a downstairs loo in a 1930's house that has the original cast soil stack. My questions are these:

Would it be possible to join the loo waste pipe onto the original stack with some kind of connector?

If so, how would you cut the stack, with an angle grinder or other method?

Are there any collars/pipe replacements available to do this? (metric to imperial?)

Would it be easier/wiser to replace the whole stack?

If so, is it possible to cut it say 6" above ground level and connect the new using a collar if available?

Many thanks in advance...

:D
