Bath tap cartridges

Would you swap bath tap cartridges on a bath tap were the bath panel is all tiled in? I'm just thinking of something went wrong can't get to them.

There should be an access panel, if not the fitter is a donut.

But, yes cartridges can be replaced.

They are dripping so guessing ceramic discs cartridges worn?

No as in you swap as only dealing with the top of the tap?

Turn off your water and drain down, reomve the tap head and then remove the cartridge. Take to a good plumber merchant to get a new set, then refit.

Thanks the heads usually remove ok after removing the grub screw at the back of the tap?

Clean the seating before fitting the new ones and a smear of silicone grease never hurts.
If they are not a common size, tapmagician has an 18 sheets of A4 list of dimensions to choose from.

Usually not aa problem but sometimes they resist.
