So long as you use copper olives on the compression couplings and ensure the plastic pipes have the correct inserts then all should be well.
You'll be aware that flexi's do reduce the water volume flow quite considerably of course.
John :)

would this cause less work?

Thats an ordinary tap connector and is certainly better than any flexible connector - but you still need the inserts.
For your shower, tee off from the hot and cold supply and run the pipes upwards to your shower mixer.
I'm guessing the boiler is a combi?
If you are fitting any isolator valves, do go for the full bore ones if you can.
John :)

not fitting any more isolator valves just the ones u see in the picture, the plastic inserts that go into the pipe? yeh the pipe work is already in for the shower mate

Good luck with your project mate......beautiful part of the world, Argyll......in fact heading for a motorbike run to Tarbert in due course :p
John :)

Would that be Tarbet at the top of Lomond?.....
I'm heading for Tarbert (Kennacraig) on the Mull of Kintyre, and then on to Islay :p
John :)

just another quick question, if i used the flexi and made it as straight as poss, it would just be a case of putting an insert in and pushing the sharkbite end onto it ? right

If you use that flexi your flow rate will be cr@p, you'll be able to pi$$ faster
