My alarm keeps going off every hour and its doing my head in. Where do i go on the system to replace the battery our fuse? It's showing up on the screen fuse/bat fault check!!!

the battery is in the main panel, usually a largish white box with all the cables going into it.

DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER UNTIL YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE MAINS SUPPLY!!!

i hope you either have the engineer code, or its set up for user tamper reset
also when you remove the cover;
the sounders will sound
put your code in the panel to silence it
remove the battery
fit a new one (date it)
put cover back on
reset your system

before you do nay of the above, what panel do you have, we can then tell you what battery you need!

you might have a blown fuse on the charging side of your control panel

check and replace if required

if you have changed the battery for a new one,
and checked the power supply fuse (with a meter, not just by looking at it)
and these are ok.

reset your system, try to set/unset and see what happens

we used to fit the 800/816 and never had a problem when changing battery.

what does the log tell you?

thsi would be our first point of call on any system that shows a fault

hope this helps
