Since January had 15-20 yuasa 2.8 ah batteries failed drop test less than 1 year old ( most first service) various control panels , 2 different battery testers , all seem around same reading 0.88-0.98 ah , took 4 back to wholesaler who tested with act tester all the same ?

That surprises me, aren't they guaranteed for at least 12 months but would expect much better, 5-7Y?.

I carry 1.3, 2.1 and 7Ah as a rule and occasional buy others.

We don't tend to use many 2.8s - mainly 7 and 10 with the occasional 2.1 in Scanny plastic boxes. I'll check with the service guys...
