Boiler has recently started playing up now and again. If one of us has a shower, then we can not get any hot water for around 30 minutes or so.
All the temperature lights are lit, indicating the water temperature is 80+ degrees, but it's cold at the tap. When it's showing all these lights, the boiler makes a noise every couple of seconds which I've not heard before.
It has had recently a new diverter valve diaphragm (though this isn't a likely cause anyway).
I've attached a quick video to show the noise.
I turned the boiler off at the wall and then ran the hot tap for a minute or so, and this allows the highest two lights to go out when the boiler is turned back on.
Perplexed! Any ideas anyone?
TIA Dunk
