Baxi 552 playing up can you suggest an answer please.
The heating side is working fine, Burner goes out after 2-3mins.
Disconnected thermostat on tank and connected the hot water valve direct to the signal wire from boiler to eliminate tank thermostat,
Removed thermo coupling from boiler to eliminate that.
There has been a new programmer fitted six months ago, so its unlikly to be that.
Pilot light is burning well.
But the burner persist on going out after 2-3mins!!!
Appreciate suggestions

with no thermocouple it shouldn't light at all

Deciphering what you are saying there, you have no heating or hot water and the boiler extinguishes after 2-3 minutes?

I take it the system is fully pumped and you have a three way valve?

Is the pump running? Is there a manual airvent near the mororised valve?

these systems are virtually bullet proof, so if boiler goes out after 2-3 minutes it is either no circulation, or no water in the system, sytom would suggest boiler is only heating water contained within heat exchanger and if it isnt circulating away the boiler stat will shut the boiler off, eventually the water will cool down and the boiler will come on again
