got a baxi bermuda back boiler not sure of model must be close on 15 yrs old, was in house when we moved in last year, had replacement gas valve fitted in dec 07, now prob with pilot light cutting out when hot water kicks in developed into pilot light not staying alight at all! any ides of prob?

call a gas engineer, sounds like a service and cheap bits required. Not a diy job, safety issues/concerns.
try changing the thermocouple,by a corgi engineer
thanks, we intended to get an engineer out but our usual engineer who we trust is on sick leave til end of august and wanted some idea of what the problem might have been before calling someone else - you hear so many stories of people getting caught out these days. Thank you
