I've got a 25 year old Baxi Boiler wall mounted and need to fit a new thermal coupling. The only thing stopping me is the white outer casing (has a flap panel at the bottom the light pilot etc..) dosen't seem to have any release screws so I can get to the back of the thermal coupling connection from underneath.?? The bottom panel seems fixed?

Any suggestion really helpful before a rip the casing off and damage its fixings!

Cheers, Nigel :(

I will start before you get the barrage of other posts.

As the t.couple is a vital safety device, then this should be changed by a suitably competent person i.e gas safe registered.

Forum rules stop us from giving advice, about DIY gas work.I know you are only asking about getting the case off, but it would lead to gas work.

Excuse me if you are gas safe registered.

You will need a fluffell screwdriver and a widget to remove the casing; they sell them in plumb centers nationwide.

let your fully registered nephew remove the casing. it'll only take him a minute or two.

hope this helps.
