Hi all,

I have a 2 year old baxi combi 80e, the problem im getting is that when the DHW is requested on running the hot taps the water is hot at first then goes cold, then hot again and keeps cycling like this every 20 secs.

All lights are okay on the boiler with no fault indication. Having read many posts on here people seem to suggest the divertor valve diaphragam to be the cause for loss of hot water, Would this be the case here also???

Another problem is the system pressure keeps rising to 3 to 3.5 bar, on venting the radiators i can get the pressure back to 2 but it slowly creeps back up! Could this be a split in the plate heat exchanger? And if so would this be the cause of the DHW problems to?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

if pressure rising and u not filling it.either fill loop is passing or plate exchanger passing from one to other.turn off cold supply to boiler if it still rises its the fill loop

thermistor for hot n cold the rising pressure would suggest the diverter has dhw has nothing to do with C/H.
