Hi new fault developed on my boiler,
The boiler responds to commands from the programmer when I switch it to HW or CH and also for HW and CH together, it also responds to adjustments made to room thermostat.
When I say 'responds, the boiler switches on and off depending on what signal given from the programmer/Room Stat.
However although the boiler switches on and off, that is all it does.
The fan starts, the pump runs, the power light is on and boiler light is on, but no pilot light, thus the boiler won't fire up,
I can't see any evidence of a spark or hear any clicking from the electrode.
What checks can I make to determine the fault,
It is a 'Y' type set up .
TC
