Hello, please can someone help!!!

My boiler has now finally stopped working, I’ve repaired the PCB numerous times (IC’s, caps and relay faults), now when I turn on the boiler and call for heat the ‘Boiler On’ neon lights and the pump runs but the ignition sequence doesn’t follow.

I’ve check the thermostat sensor and the overheat sensor, they are both ok. The Pot connected to the PCB seems to be doing it’s thing.

The fan does not run, there is no power coming from the PCB.

There is no power to the pilot gas solenoid (or the main gas supply solenoid). I’ve checked right back to the PCB.

I’ve buzzed out the wiring harness, everything is ok.

The pressure switch seems to be ok (I did find and fix a split hose!).

Anything else I should check?

Anyone have a circuit diagram for the PCB? I’ve checked all the semi-conductors, the relays and the board for dry joints, can’t find anything amiss – what now? A New/reconditioned PCB???

Many thanks,

Joel

Just change it.

30 mins out of your day and £80 odd quid. Or Geoff at CET of you want a re-con.

David.
