The sink is now sealed & water is flowing down the drain & not into the cupboard below!! Plumbers mait & a large nylon washer to the rescue!

"Poncho" is having so much difficulty with a simple task that it could well be a woman!!!
He/she has not told us if they are using the ( larger ) waste specially made for Belfast sinks, that may be the problem.
Plumber's mate is the woman the plumber hangs around with, or in some cases the bloke the plumber hangs around with. But there are more gay male plumbers than straight female plumbers. The sealant is called Plumbers Mait!
If you want to use John's lead washer you have to cut it out of sheet lead.
