biasi 24 reva compact not ignition

hi my biasi reva boiler stop working. 1st fan stoped i spray d40 on it get started but noisey, and there no ignition and in replace the fan now pump and working fine but still no ignition i check fuse and gas was fine not get fire every thing cold can anyone help me out

think you said enough already, you need to get an RGI which is what you should have done instead of changing the fan, obviously you checked the case seal etc?

It sounds as if you have spent more on just parts than a professional fixed price repair from British Gas would have cost at about £188.

For anyone else reading this thread, not only are you not meant to be opening the boiler combustion chamber where the fan lives but WD40 has a highly flamable propellant and should never be used near flames.
