As I understand the cat 5 DC pipe interrupters are intended for open outlet applications ie urinals, otherwise the water would discharge out of the vent holes. Are there any inline fittings that are suitable or do you have to go down the AUK1 air gap route.

Ideally I want 2 installed with hot and cold or just hot feed off a combi boiler.
What if you do an installation where the spray cannot reach the water level in the pan. Does that get around the need for Cat 5?

If the pan cannot empty due to a blockage then the water level in the pan may become higher that the spray nozzle.

Obey the rules.

No. The spray head is not allowed to be able to pass the rim of the pan
