Bit of newbie work

Agree with JR there, as long as you run the trowel across the wall at the bottom so it is plumb and the plaster is low enough to give a good backing for the skirting but high enough from the floor then it doesn't matter, what you have shown looks fine.

I think I have a snot or two that I missed so will tidy those up with a scraper, cheers guys.

I remember at the time looking at my first plastering in the house and thinking it was good. Now I look and I cringe at the untidy edges.
Though I think I might get into trouble with the missus if I start re-skimming finished rooms at this stage ;)
