What kind of trades person do we need to call out?

We have some mold which started in the corner of the bedroom between the outside wall and the wall which joins on to next door. This was very slight and didn't seem to be a problem it was light gray in colour and very small, we noticed that the flashing which joins from our roof to the wall of the house next door looked to have come slightly adrift.
Since then we had new loft insulation put in and we noticed the mold started to come back even more but it had moved further along the ceiling on the outside wall above the window when we went up in the loft some things seemed to be damp like covered in condensation?

More recently we have had double glazing fitted and since this the mold has got a lot worse also our boiler packed up the other week and the mold seems to be spreading very quickly.

We don't know what kind of trades person we need or who we would call please can anyone give us advice?

Double-glazing - particularly the kind without trickle-vents - stops moist air escaping and will make any condensation problem worse. The fact that you can't see condensation on your windows tricks some people into thinking the dg has somehow solved it. It hasn't. The moisture in the air simply condenses somewhere else - cold spots on your walls, for example. The reason it's worse now your boiler has packed up is that warm air can hold more moisture than cold air, but eventually even warm air becomes saturated. Insulating your home, creating a sealed environment will have made things worse.

You clearly need to vent the house more, have your windows got trickle vents? Obviously a plumber would be best for the boiler and a good general builder should be able to sort anything else out that needs doing, that way the roofer won't be able to blame anyone else and vice versa. Cheaper and easier too.

I think his mould problems will go away once the rain stops coming in and he gets the rads hot.

damp in bathroom

could be water leak esp from shower or roof or flashing if it is very localised. On a party wall the leak might be next door

very likely condensation

if you say the loft is damp, then steam might be rising through holes in the bathroom ceiling; or you might have uncovered water tanks that are hot (they shoud be cold) or you might have a water leak up there. go up on a cold night with a torch and look for steam, or a rainy day and look for leaks.
