black water in rads

I have a 25 year old back boiler system. I often have to bleed radiators due to air locks etc, but whenever I do I always get black water coming out. Is this normal?

Yes, common, at least. You're full of ****! SOmetime or other it'll have to be cleaned properly. But it's old so if it's working, leave it alone for now. Others will differ on this.

thanks...good to know it's nothing too serious and will hopefully hold out until I can afford a new central heating system.
