Hi There
Hope someone can help me.
Yesterday I bled a couple of radiators in my house which were cold at the top and hot at the bottom. This seemed to fix the problem on one however i was surprised when no water came out of the key hole. There was a rush of air which gradually slowed to stop.
Later that evening i noticed all the raditaors were no longer on despite the fact the timer was on. I tried resetting the system but could not get the heating to come back on. The boiler is working but not firing up when i switch the heating on.
Is it possible that i caused a problem when i bled the radiators? Or is it just coincidence? Do i not have enough water in the system hence why none came out of radiator..
I had a look at the expansion cistern, the large one is full but the smaller one is empty (the smaller one has no ballcock!) Do i need to fill this to overcome my problem, if so how would i go about it.
I\\\'d appreciate any help people could offer.
thanks
