I have a homeserve boiler repair plan and it covers the failure of the 3 port valve in our airing cupboard which needs replacing. however, the engineer came and inspected the boiler and submitted a report to homeserve stating that the work cannot be done as the boiler flue is too close to our garden shed- which is situated 32 cms away from the edge of the flue and it is a health and safety issue. I can get the work done if i empty and move the shed or get an independent report saying that this is not a safety issue- which i would have to pay for and get re-imbused from homeserve , I am not a plumber or gas engineer , the one who came round and submitted the report was very unfriendly and unhelpful and didn't seem to want to do the work, but is he right? Any advice please.
