This morning the boiler pressure was below the recomended level, but this afternoon it is over 3!!

How can I reduce it?

It is a Worchester Bosch ZWB 7-27 HE

Please recommend something easy as I don't know how to drain it etc

If your boiler pressure was low did you refill it? You may have left the filling loop if fitted slightly open.

If you have a drain point on a rad or pipework, drain about a litre and half from that. Pretty straight forward for a DIYr.

I don't know what a drain point is. Can I just bleed the radiators to remove some water?

Yes you can if you want to ruin your carpet/wallpaper etc. A drain point is normally fitted on pipework downstairs near or on radiator pipework, looks like a brass stubby tap. If you do find one and a spanner, open it up like a normal tap, put a jug or other container to catch the water.

Have a look.
