Hi, I have a Halstead Ace High, it will only start up when the front cover is removed or partially off.
A typical symptom of the air pressure switch at fault I am informed which is logical, this has been replaced as has the pcb for a different fault,
Anyone experienced this problem before

Turn it off. Do not use until checked and given the all clear by a gas safe registered engineer. The symptoms you describe suggest insufficient oxygen for complete combustion (hence no flame and boiler doesn't start). Insufficient oxygen = incomplete combustion = too much Carbon Monoxide = death.
