Could be. Make/model of boiler? Does it do anything at all? Any fault codes/lights?

Hi
Its a really old back boiler with a baxi fire ..
The pilot lite is on and the pump works and the valve works but the burner doesn't fire up ... Only drained it down to add new rads and it had a new pump not so long back ....

System definately full of water? Power to boiler? Controls calling for heat? Air lock wont stop the boiler firing, but will cause circulation issues, possibly banging from the boiler as the trapped water boils.

make sure the button on the gas valve(that u hold in when lighting)is fully out.(pull back on it,usally grey).
what make and model is bbu

Check boiler thermostat is turned up!
