Our 7 year old Bosch dishwasher stopped near the end of it's programme having blown the plug fuse and tripped the domestic circuit breaker. I replaced the fuse and the machine worked ok again but at some stage the circuit breaker tripped again but the fuse in the plug did not blow. Does any one have any ideas as to what could be causing this fault? Now running for the 3rd time with fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again, but not much hope of that!

Check the mains filter inside the machine where the flex enters the chassis. The plastic bit will slide out if you can release the locking tabs.#

Ensure it is unplugged first though.

I am having the same problem - the machine has also started buzzing in an ominous sounding way
The buzzing is intermittent and happens when the machine is on - but continues when it has finished a cycle

Any ideas?

How do you release the locking tabs on the mains filter?
