Bosch Exxcel 1400 Express - Noisy Spin Cycle

Hi all,

When the spin cycle started there was a loud bang (like something fell of its hinges) and the machine started moving as the spin cycle ran very noisily. The clothes then came out dirtier then when they went in with lots of extra dirt on the clothes.

Any ideas what might have happened and it is worth trying to fix?

Any thoughts appreciated,

sounds like the drum bearings have collapsed and the bearings oil has been released into the wash . not good news.
