Bosch Exxcel Washing Machine

I have a Bosch Exxcel 1400 S Express washing machine which has recently been giving problems .
Basically, a wash cycle is repeated twice automatically before finishing. The cycle goes through to 1 minute left and then jumps to the start of the cycle again. After the second time around for the cycle it finishes and the door can be opened.
Grateful if anyone can advise what the problem might be

Does the same thing happen on other programmes ( spin , rinse , drain, ) or even a different wash programme?

It only appears to happen on wash programmes that we commonly use i.e. 30, 40, 60. It doesn't happen on rinse, spin or drain

Not 100% sure but I would suspect the control board is faulty & it's an expensive item.
