I have a Bosch chest freezer. The lid has the a panel with - the load level control, an alarm indicator and a "super" button.
The freezer is full with the load level on 5, the max.
The alarm has started sounding, which I know can happen when food is added.
Pressing the "super" switch silences the alarm BUT the "super" function now only remains for 1-3 flashes of the indicator rather than until switched off. After which, the alarm starts to sound again.
The freezer appears to be running okay - i.e. the compressor is working and switching on & off "as normal".
There are no fluids on the floor.
The lid fits perfectly.
The inside is still cold.
Is this terminal, switch problem, thermostat, gas pressure, DIY or engineer....???
URGENT advice please in case a new freezer is needed - just out to but a freezer thermometer to monitor the temperature.
Many thanks
