Problem with old machine. It has suddenly started overflowing from the detergent draw - towards the end of the cycle when adding softener. It is fine at the early stages when adding detergent. I have removed the draw and cleaned all components. When it floods, the water shoots out from all round the draw although it is shut tight.

hi...clean the draw and the roof of the dispenser compartment.also check the hose that goes to the drum.If all this fails, then look for a hose from the dispenser to the drum ( normally at the top and about half inch in diameter ), this will be a breather pipe that could get blocked.some models have a very thin pipe at the rear of the dispenser, this also gets blocked.if this pipe goes to a resevior which the drain hose connects to, this could also be blocked !!!!
