Bosch washing machine leaking water from top

Hi,

I have a Bosch washer/dryer wvf2401 it's about 7.5 years old.

It has recently started to leak water. from what I can see it's coming from the top of the washer.

I opened it up and the only place it would be coming from is a small white plastic container about 9cmx4xmx3xm that has connections from the cold water supply. This container also has a small hole in the top of it which I guess is where the water is coming from.

Can anyone tell me if the water is coming from the hole because the hole should have a plug or because somehting is not shutting the water off in time.

Also is it cheap to fix or should I get a new machine?
