hi there i have two sets of radiator pipes coming down at two opposite ends of my living room wall. i want to box these pipes in, but have coving fitted. I was wondering what was the best way to achieve a good finish is it to cut the wood to the profile of the coving, or cut the coving so the wood finishes at ceiling height ??? hope this makes sense :D

best regards

If you can manage it scribe the wood to the coving using a coping saw. You may find it easier to make a thin hardboard or plywood template first before cutting the thicker boxing-in materials

it will look much neater and look like its always been there rather than added in!
